Startup Writer

Are you the next Andrew Ross Sorkin, Gillian Tett, or Ashlee Vance?

The Startup Writer Intern will cover all startup, entrepreneur and career oriented content that identifies with and topically relates to Modern Treatise’s vision/target demographic.

The candidate must be able to provide critical analysis of current trends and topics in world of tech.

The candidate must be able to understand the mindset and strategies of entrepreneurs and be able to translate market knowledge into accessible advice.

The candidate also needs to be on top of the continual emergence of new startups and the impact they might have. A heuristic writing approach is key to achieving this.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Write a weekly commentary on all things related to tech and the startup world.
  • Write a bi-weekly profile on entrepreneurs in the startup community across various sectors.
  • Write regular content related to starting your own business.
  • Write regular content focused on professional development.

Duration: 6 months

This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.
