PR/CopyWriter/Social Media Intern

The Public Relations/Copywriting/Social Media intern works at the intersection of copywriting, public relations, and social media, with opportunities to contribute across branded messaging, editorial voice, digital engagement, and audience development..
Responsibilities:
Copywriting:
Draft compelling copy for press releases, social captions, brand decks, and promotional materials.
Public Relations:
Draft and distribute press releases and media alerts.
Research media contacts, outlets, and potential collaborators.
Assist in maintaining the media contact database and monitoring press coverage.
Support outreach efforts for campaigns, partnerships, and launches.
Social Media:
Contribute to ideation, scheduling, and publishing of content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and other platforms.
Track social media trends and recommend creative content strategies.
Requirements:
Knowledge of media trends, digital culture, and social media platforms.
A strong interest in branding, storytelling, and strategic communication.
Ability to manage deadlines, take feedback, and work independently.
The candidate must be passionate about public relations and connecting with brands.
The candidate must be able to write target marketing/social media copy.
The candidate should be apt to use various social media platforms for marketing and branding purposes.
The candidate must have experience developing and writing targeted press releases.
The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication.
The candidate should be a self-starter and able to work with minimal to medium supervision.
The candidate should have at least six months of experience in copywriting, public relations, and/or social media in a professional environment.
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and voice.
Duration: 6 months
Official Start Date: July 2025
This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.
