The Unscripted Journalist intern will cover media-related content for the site as it identifies with and relates to A Hot Set’s target demographic.

The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in covering the business of all informative news, talk show, reality, and sports-related content.

The candidate also should possess critical and intellectual thinking skills to write socially relevant fact-based commentary. 

Responsibilities:     

• Monthly column reporting on the business of reality TV and sports programming. 

• Monthly column reporting on the business of informative news.  

• Monthly column reporting the ratings for led/co-led informative news and talk programs.

• Monthly column reporting the ratings for reality TV programs and sporting events.

• Special Coverage: Write occasional industry-related commentary and reviews of programs. 

This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.
