Scripted TV Data Journalist (internship)






The Scripted TV Data Journalist will cover the site's television-related content as it identifies with and relates to A Hot Set’s target demographic.
The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in introducing new television series for broadcast, cable, and streaming television networks.
The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in writing about ratings for television shows and how that applies to their success or failure.
The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in covering scripted television series from various genres.
The candidate should also possess critical and intellectual thinking skills to write socially relevant, fact-based commentary.
Responsibilities:
Write a monthly column presenting an analysis of broadcast, selected cable, and streaming audience/user data.
Write a monthly column presenting a historical viewership analysis for an individual scripted television series.
Write a biweekly column presenting current scripted television series ratings from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.
