The International Continental European Reporter Intern will cover international content focused on European nations outside of the European Union as their regular beat for Modern Treatise.

The candidate should be adept at understanding the geopolitics of Europe.

The candidate should be adept at understanding the nuances of domestic/national politics across Europe.

The candidate must be able to look at geopolitical subject matters from multiple perspectives.

The candidate must be adept at relying on fact-based evidence rather than political or activist wish-thinking.

The candidate should be adept at understanding the ever-shifting state of the economy or economies across Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Write a weekly column covering the social, economic, and political topics related to European nations outside of the European Union from a European perspective.

• Special continental-related coverage.

Duration: 6 months

This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.
