US Reporter

The US Reporter Intern will cover the political debates over domestic political topics related to America and Modern Treatise.
The candidate should understand political philosophies rather than political talking points.
The candidate must be able to look at political subject matters from multiple perspectives.
The candidate must be adept at relying on fact-based evidence rather than political wish-thinking.
The candidate must be able to act as a neutral reporter as opposed to a commentator.
Responsibilities Include:
Weekly: In-depth political reporting that will cover the following range of topics:
Courts: Some reporting will focus on local and state Supreme Court cases, appeals courts, and U.S. Supreme Court cases,
Election Coverage: There will be occasional coverage of domestic elections from an unbiased perspective as assigned,
Federal: Other reporting will focus on Congressional, and the White House subject matters related to policy and overall governing,
Local, State & Territory: Other feature articles will focus on local, state, and territorial political matters related to policy and overall governing,
National Security: Some reporting will cover America's national defense including border control, foreign engagements, and global military alliances,
Federal: Other reporting will focus on Congressional, and the White House subject matters related to policy and overall governing,
Local, State & Territory: Other feature articles will focus on local, state, and territorial political matters related to policy and overall governing.
Various articles will highlight the pluses and minuses of different perspectives within the topics covered.
This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.
