Nick Li is the Editor-in-Chief of The Ambony, where he oversees shaping the digital society magazine’s overall vision. He is committed to ensuring the platform is a space where identity, innovation, and storytelling converge, with the aim of challenging conventions, amplifying diverse narratives, and reimagining the possibilities of culture and lifestyle media in today’s rapidly shifting world.
Nick’s editorial foundation was built through a wide range of professional and technical writing experiences. At San José State University, he developed expertise in creating accessible content for general audiences—producing instructional documents, videos, and user manuals that combined clarity with creativity. His projects included guiding readers through tools such as Adobe Photoshop and GitHub, as well as collaborating on the design and documentation of digital applications like the CSCPay Mobile app.
His versatility extends to copyediting, newsletter writing, and content strategy. From refining Wikipedia articles in accordance with professional style guides to authoring pieces for the SJSU English Department Newsletter, Nick has demonstrated a keen eye for detail and a talent for clear communication. He also worked in a team to analyze and enhance the digital presence of Dogs4Diabetics, crafting a content strategy plan and designing engaging graphics to strengthen the nonprofit’s social media and outreach efforts.
